Like in the main games, building your pokedex is the most fun yet challenging part. DelugeRPG uses a living pokedex. It means in order to complete the Normal class of Squirtle lineup, you need five of it (Squirtle, Wartorle, Blastoise, Mega Blastoise and G-max Blastoise).
As of February 28, 2024, we have 11,070 unique pokemon to collect! That includes all Non-Legendary/Non-Mythical pokemon, Legendary, Mythical, Mega, Ultrabeasts, G-max and Paradox, etc.. Note that we don't have fakemons here, and only official pokemon.
Climbing Leaderboards
DelugeRPG has three kinds of leaderboards: Trainers Leaderboard, Collectors Leaderboard, Trainer Challenge Leaderboard. These leaderboards will display the Top 100 when you visit the Leaderboards page.
It also has leaderboards for new comers. New comers are people who joined in the last 100 days. Only accounts with logins in the past month are shown in each leaderboards.
A) Trainers Leaderboard- based on trainer points. Read https://www.delugerpg.com/faq#points to know all factors affecting trainer points and on how to increase it.
B) Collectors Leaderboard- based on number of unique pokemon. If you want to enter this leaderboard, you must have a high count of unique pokemon.
C) Trainer Challenge Leaderboard- based on most number of Trainer Challenge on the Trainers Page. To fight a Trainer Challenge, go to Trainer Battle or on any map. You'll see a trainer in a rectangular box that says 'has challenged you to a battle!'. You can see your Trainer Challenge score in Profile page. 1 win is equal to 1 Trainer Challenge score.
Collecting Pokemon with Stats
These stats will have additional boost to your pokemon in battle. +Atk stat gives boost to Attack. +Def stat gives boost to Defense. +Spe stat will let your pokemon attack first versus a pokemon without +Spe stat. More info at https://www.delugerpg.com/faq#stats .

Collecting Specific Kind of Pokemon

You need to beat at least one whole region (Gym Leaders, Elite Four Trainers and Champion/s) for Legendary, Mythical, Ultrabeast and Paradox pokemon to spawn in map.
Beating the whole Kanto Region will unlock Legendary and Mythical pokemon from Kanto Region only and will unlock all Ultrabeast and Paradox pokemon.
Tip: It is best to beat all regions to have the maximum chance rate to encounter Legendary, Mythical, Ultrabeast and Paradox pokemon. Beating only 1 region will be about 1/9th encounter rate of what it would be if you had beaten all the regions.

Collecting High Exp Pokemon
Having lots of high exp pokemon is one of many factors affecting trainer points. Also, high exp is valuable in trading. You can trade it to other players who are looking for high exp in exchange of their pokemon.
