Note that Event Pokemon cannot be traded but when use in battles, it receives about 40% more exp compare to non-event pokemon.
HOW CAN I KNOW IF THERE IS AN ACTIVE EVENT ON FORUMS?
There will be a purple line under your username indicating there is an active event on forums.
HOW CAN I CLAIM EVENT POKEMON?
In order to claim Event Pokemon, you need to finish the given task correctly. The task usually either catching a number of specific pokemon type or by battling a number of specific group of trainers using a specific pokemon type. The following steps are pretty basic. You should be able to follow it with ease.
1) Go to Events and Announcements on forums [https://www.delugerpg.net/viewforum.php?f=38]. You’ll see all active and past events. Click the most recent one, the one at the top and below the pinned post.
2) The post has links for Desktop Site and Mobile Site. You’ll be redirected in game after choosing either of the links. You can also copy the event code and paste it in the Event Page in game [https://www.delugerpg.com/event].
3) After clicking the link or putting the event code, you’ll be given a task in order to claim the Event Pokemon. Finish the task correctly and keep in mind the purple box below.
4) After completing the task correctly, click the blue Go To Event button.
5) After clicking the Go To Event blue button, the Claim Reward button below will be visible and you will be able to claim the Event Pokemon.
6) The Event Pokemon will be sent to your pokemon box. (Note that when claiming an Event Pokemon, it may have stats or none. Meaning it can have a single stat, double stats, triple stats or no stat.)
OTHER TASK OF CLAIMING EVENT POKEMON
As I said earlier, it is either catching or battling task in order to claim an Event Pokemon. The image below is an example of the other task.
Do note that the required pokemon type must participate in battle in order to have progress in the event. You must use it in battle and not just sitting in your team.
