dwf92eFun Fact: The game was supposed to launch on 1st April 2009 because I thought it would be funny. Friends advised me that people might think the announcement was an April Fool's joke for a fake game. So the release date was moved to the 31st of March. And as I was setting up the site on the evening of 30th, and the home page showed a 'coming soon' banner, someone discovered that the game was functional and managed to sign up and then announced in on some pokemon fan forum. A handful people had already signed up by the time I noticed and it made no sense to kick them out. That is how the 30th March became the site's birthday unintentionally
