Guide: Training Accounts
  • NormalTraining
    6 Gastly
    All with Ghost Type moves.

I tested this account, at level 100, you get around 3000 to 4000 money and 2000 to 3000 exp.

This training account only works for normal type pokemon or Steel, Dark type pokemon since they are resistant to ghost type moves.

    DarkTraining
    1 Chimecho
    1 Abra
    1 Alakazam
    1 Ralts
    1 Kirlia
    1 Gardevoir
All with Psychic Type moves. The last three have Hypnosis, which slows the battle down some...but...oh well. XD

I tested this account, at level 15, I got 20880 money and 13920 exp. At level 100, I got around 3000 money and 2000 exp.

This training account only works for Dark type pokemon or Steel, Psychic type pokemon since they are resistant to Psychic type moves.

    FlyingTraining
    1 Geodude
    1 Golem
    2 Onix
    1 Hippopotas
    1 Trapinch

    All with Ground Type moves.

I tested this account, at level 100, I got around 2500 money and 1700 exp.

This training account only works for Flying type pokemon or Bug, Grass type pokemon since they are resistant to Ground type moves.

    GhostTraining
    1 Sentret
    1 Furret
    1 Buneary
    1 Igglybuff
    1 Jigglypuff
    1 Happiny

    All with Normal Type moves.

I tested this account, at level 100, I got around 8000(!) money and 5300(!) exp.

This training account only works for Ghost type pokemon.

    GroundTraining
    1 Plusle
    1 Minun
    1 Pichu
    1 Jolteon
    1 Ampharos
    1 Luxray

    All with Electric Type moves.

This training account only works for Ground type pokemon.

    SteelTraining
    3 Croagunk
    3 Toxicroak

    All with Poison Type moves.

This training account only works for Steel type pokemon.

Note: You might wanna keep some Antidotes around in case your pokemon gets poisoned.

From what I've seen with these training accounts, they are wonderful for jump starting lower level pokemon. Once these training accounts start giving around 3000 to 2000 exp, switch to an Elite 4 member for better exp gain.

This quote really doesn't apply any more. XD

  • actually ur ghost training is useless even if i didn't use it bec all ghost attack types has no effects on normal types plss ur normal type use be for fighting type training
  • Actually, it isn't useless. And since you didn't use it, you can't really know for sure if it works anyways. XD

I've leveled countless ghost type pokemon using it and its been very helpful. I've even leveled ghost type pokemon to a level 100 in one battle.

It is indeed true that Ghost type moves are ineffective against normal types. The remedy? Just teach your ghost type pokemon a fighting move and you're set.

These training accounts are for types that take no damage from a certain type of attack.

Also, the exp system is based on how powerful the attacks are.

The Ghost Training account is so effective because I spent a lot of money teaching the pokemon the most powerful normal attacks.

I'm sure a fighting type could train against this account...only it could withstand attacks that are at power 150. XD
  • nice plus when i put my shiny absol in the dark traing his level went from 10 to 100!!!
and his exp in the end was...
    450,018
    wow man just...wow
edit, plus why is Groudon first on the normal training thing
  • Ooops. XD I was doing something in that account and I forgot to change it. XD It's fixed now. All Gastlys. ^^

I know, it seems that after the update the exp system changed slightly. I got more exp battling an elite member as well.
  • DarkTraining was great. O_O

I got 98,000+ from one battle! Thanks. x3

On another note... I think it would be wiser to change.. for example; the FlyingTraining Pokemon with Grass Pokemon that use ground type moves. : )

It makes the opponent that much easier to defeat and saves time... for the battler, of course. ^.^

Same goes with other accounts.. such as GhostlyTraining. Same thing; instead of using normal.. use.. whatever ghost pokemon are effective against, and give them normal type moves. Get what I mean?

But all the accounts you've made are really great and really effective. Just some tips to make them more effective to the users. : D

  • Thanks a ton for the input, IcedWings. ^-^ I'm glad the training accounts are working for you. :D

I think the reason I used those kind of pokemon for the accounts is because it was cheaper to teach them the strongest attacks if they were the same types. Each account cost from 500k to 1.5mil for the attacks. And those pokemon are the same types. XD

So, for now I'm going to have to keep the accounts as they are. It would cost way too much to change them now.

But it's still an excellent idea. Thanks so much. ^-^
  • [quote="Alianora"]Thanks a ton for the input, IcedWings. ^-^ I'm glad the training accounts are working for you. :x And it also costs a lot of the battler if they need to buy effective moves.

I really wish there was a way to train Grass, Water, Fire pokemon in this method as well. XD
    Oh well. :<
  • I know. XD It would be nice. I might do some testing to see if it would be worthwhile to make such training accounts with moves that aren't effective.

Luckily, some pokemon have dual types. ^^ Like Heatran Fire/Steel. So, he can use the SteelTraining account. XD
  • Too bad training was changed again ;-;

i've made some training accounts testing pkm lv and moves with different power.... if you just want to level up your pkm to lv 100 you can use LV 10 pokemons with the strongest moves, you will get around 50k exp and 100k money...
for example the account i use to train GRASS pkm are 6 Rock/Ground pkms LV10 with 4 Frenzy Plant each. They do 15-16 damage if your pokemon is only Grass type, but if you have for example a Grass/poison they do 8 damage, so you can defeat every pokemon using some potions ... but you pokemon must have at least 32+ HP...
so the most important (if you just want to reach the lv 100) is the attack power.

hope this help you with your accounts :D
  • Hello. I am a new trainer and I was wondering if these are the only training accounts that work? Thank you for the training accounts. Kudos to the one who made them. :)

    OMG :O
  • No offense to the poster, but the dark-type training gym is not proper, because of moves such as hypnosis and confusion.. they make the battle take forever. Therefore I made another dark-type training gym, with the account name Lacdark.

    The gym has:

    Exeggutor
    Rankurusu
    Espeon
    Xatu
    Gardevoir
    Claydol

All at level 100, and have proper moves that don't confuse or put you asleep. Enjoy.

its not her fault, when he made those accs status ailments arent affecting pokes.
  • YES THANK U SO MUCH! WHILE BATTLING GROUNDTRAINING USING MY LV7 GHOSTLY LARVITAR, IT TURNED LV100 ALREADY WITHOUT WAITING FOR TOO LONG!(now its a GHOSTLY TYRANITAR)
  • Is there a training account for grass type pokemon?
  • [quote="Lil_Shorty"]Is there a training account for grass type pokemon?
    Nope.
  • NRTRWater is a good training account. He has lvl 100 Onix, a lvl 100 Graveler, a lvl 100 Golem, a lvl 100 Rhyhorn, a lvl 100 Rhydon and a lvl 100 Rhyperior.

Their move set is yawn, yawn, yawn, yawn (yawn on deluge is like splash on the console game it does nothing)

Tip use any move except electric moves.

Key: 4x = 4 times normal damage (100 damage become 400 damage), 0.25x = quarter the normal damage (400 damage become 100 damage), 0x = no damage at all

    4x Water, Grass
    2x Ground, Steel, Fighting, Ice
1x Phychic, Bug, Ghost, Dragon, Dark
    0.5x Normal, Fire, Flying, Rock
    0.25x Poison
    0x Electric

This can be done with any pokemon along as it hasn't have electric type move on all 4 move slot, for quickness use water and grass move

PS I found this on Youtube.
  • awesome training accounts NRTRWater helped me train my whole party
    do u have another rhyperior???
